Bill Ricci, Jr. |
Bill Ricci, Jr. is the keyboardist for
Backbone Road band. He was born and raised in a
musical family. His father, Bill Ricci, Sr.,
played jazz and blues on the road for many years
and started teaching his son at a very early
age. Bill’s musical inspirations are Jimmy
Smith, Dr., John, Jerry Lee Lewis, Les Paul, and
Jelly Roll Morton.
Bill previously performed with Memory Lane,
High-Tech Rednecks, Free Beer and Chicken Band,
and Stone Cold Band.
When his is not gigging with Backbone Road band,
he enjoys mountain bike riding and walking his
dog, Nanner. |

Jill Swanson |
Jill Swanson
is the drummer, mandolin, and fiddle instrumentalist. She also sings lead and harmony vocals
for Backbone Road band. In addition, Jill has
performed also on guitar, bass, mandolin, and
fiddle in other bands. Jill is also the Manager
of Backbone Road band.
Jill began her professional music career at age
nine. From a very musical family, Jill has
performed with Country Scene, Country Edition,
Clear Creek Band, and Rambler Creek Band. In
addition, Jill has performed as a substitute
musician/singer for many area cover bands.
Jill recorded an all-original album in October
1994 in Nashville, Tennessee. On this album,
“Waitin’ for the Bus”, she performed all the
vocals, bass guitar, drums, and fiddle.
Cassettes of this recording are still available
for $5.
Besides her own songwriting, Jill writes,
performs, and records commercial jingles;
performs for benefits; is a soloist for weddings
and other events; and teaches lessons. She is
the founder of “Healing Through Music”, a
program that serves local hospitals, senior care
facilities, and special needs facilities. In
addition, Jill is the proprietor and entertainer
of “Hit Clips Karaoke”.
When Jill is not working with music, she enjoys
spending time with her three dogs: Joey,
Mattie, and puppy Aero. Her main hobby is family
history/genealogy. |

Toni Ricci-Morgan |
Toni Ricci-Morgan has been performing
live since the age of four. Having come from a
family of accomplished musicians, she has played
many instruments over the years including
keyboard, guitar, and bass guitar.
After performing as bassist and lead vocalist in
the band Dover Rebellion for six years, she
joined Rambler Creek band. Soon after, the band
reformed as Backbone Road, where she is bassist,
and lead and harmony vocalist. |

John Loftus |
John Loftus plays rhythm and lead guitar
in Backbone Road band and also sings lead and
harmony.
John has played guitar for the Generics and
Model Citezen.
John is from a musical family and enjoys playing
all types of music from country to rock. |

Randy DeKeyser |
Randy DeKeyser
is the lead and rhythm guitarist and shares
vocals with Backbone Road band.
Other bands Randy has performed with include:
Rambler Creek, The Ramblers, Strictly Business,
plus various others such as Hidden Ace, Room
Service, 2nd Guess, and The Elite.
Randy grew up with older siblings and parents
who always sang to the radio, television, or
shows in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. When some of the
siblings went to college, they came back with a
surprise, which were guitars to sing along with.
After awhile, a guitar would get left at home.
Temptation gave in, and Randy picked one up –
the rest is history as they say. |
